9.1 CD player
The CD player can either be operated via the buttons on the front panel or via the remote control. When
actuating a button, always direct the remote control towards the sensor. The must be no obstacles between
remote control and the sensor. 2. If the range of the remote control decreases, the batteries are probably
exhausted and must be replaced.
Playing CDs
1. Slide in a CD with the lettering upwards so far into the slot until it is retracted automatically. Hold the CD
with two fingers by the edge. Avoid touching the inside area of the CD.

[PLAY PAUSE] to start playback. During playback, the display shows the play
symbol [

] and the time indication [

] shows the elapsed time of the current title in minutes and seconds.
The button REMAIN switches the time indication to total remain time.

allows to switch between play and pause. In pause mode, the pause
symbol [

] is indicated.
4. To stop playback press the button [STOP].
5. For ejecting the CD press the button [EJECT] in stop mode.
Selecting titles
1. With the buttons
[REV] and
[SKIP] you can skip one title or several titles in forward or backward
direction. Button
[REV]: skip to the previous title, button
[SKIP]: skip to the next title.
2. Press the 10, to advance 10 titles.
3. For direct selection of a title with the numerical keys 0-10 on the remote control, enter its number.
Fast forward/reverse, return to the starting point of the title
1. For fast forward, keep the button
[SKIP] pressed, for fast reverse keep the button
[REV] pressed.
2. To jump to the starting point of a title, press the button TOP on the remote control.
Intro play, repeat function, and random play
1. By pressing the button INTRO, scan play is started, i.e. the first ten seconds of each title of the CD are
successively played (indication
INTRO
[

]). To return to normal play, press the button once again.
2. With the button REPEAT, two repeat functions can be selected:
• first actuation of the button: continuous repeat of the selected title (indication 1 [a])
• second actuation of the button: continuous repeat of all titles (indication ALL [a])
• third actuation of the button: return to normal play
3. With the button RANDOM, you can activate random play. The titles are now played in random order
(indication
RANDOM
[

]). To return to normal play, press the button once again.
Individual title sequence
1. Activate the programming mode with the button PROGRAM. The display indicates

2. Use the numerical keys and the 10 on the remote control to program the title sequence.
Example: for title 2, 6 and 12 press the buttons 2, 6, +10 and 2. After selecting a title, the title number is
indicated in the title calendar [

Playing a loop
A section within a title can be repeated as a continuous loop as many times as desired.
1. During playback shortly actuate the button A
B when the desired starting point of the loop is reached.

2. Press the button again when the desired end point is reached. The display indicates

and

].
The
section between the starting point and the end point of the loop is continuously repeated.
3. To exit the loop and to continue the title, press the button a third time. The indications [

] extinguish.
Pitch adjustment
With the rotary control
PITCH the playback speed can be adjusted variably. Turn the control to the left to
decrease the pitch, turn it to the right to increase the pitch.
