VOLTAGE SELECT
The following description applies to each zone input section.
(6) CH LINE INPUT
Each zone can receive a separate input signal via the
RCA connectors. These inputs allow for the
connection of stereo line signals or two mono signals.
In bridge mode, connect the mono source to the left
input.
(7) LINE/BUS SWITCH
Switches the zone from line source to BUS input.
Press this switch to route the BUS input signal to the
zone or leave it the up position to use the zone’s line
input.
(8) REMOTE VOLUME
For connecting an external control with ¼” mono jack
plug. When connected, this feature bypasses both
level controls on the front panel for this zone.
(9) LIMITER ON/OFF-SWITCH
Switches the built-in input limiter on and off and helps
to reduce unwanted interference and distortion for each zone separately.
(10) STEREO/BRIDGE MODE-SWITCH
For selecting the operating mode. For setting the zone to stereo or dual mono mode, operating at 50 W per
channel, leave this switch in the up position. Press this button to bridge both channels to a 100 W mono
amplifier. In bridge mode, the +4 Ohm/+100V switch must be set to +4 Ohm to connect 8 speaker groups.
Do not connect 4 or 100 V speaker groups in bridge mode.
(11) +4 OHM/+100V-SWITCH
Leave this switch in the up position when connecting 4 or 8
speaker groups. Press this switch when
connecting 100 V speaker groups.
(12) SPEAKER CONNECTIONS
Terminals for connecting your passive speaker-systems. For a stereo zone or a dual mono zone, connect
the positive “+” and the negative “-“ speaker output to the “+4 “ and the „-NEG“ input of the MPS-1250‘s
L&R terminal. In bridge mode, connect the “+” and “-“ output of your 8
speaker to the “+4 “ and the “-
NEG“ input of the terminal and make sure the Stereo/Bridge Mode switch is pressed.
(13) AC VOLTAGE-SELECTOR
Make sure that the selector is properly set.
(14) AC-CONNECTION
Used to plug the power cord in.
(15) FUSEHOLDER
Only replace the fuse when the device is disconnected from mains.
Only use fuses of the same rating and power.
