Playing CDs, USB Devices, and Memory Cards
After loading a data carrier, it is selected as the
playback medium and the playback will start
automatically. The button [
MODE
] allows
switching over to another source. Press the button
so many times until the desired data carrier is
indicated in the display: Tuner, CD, USB, CARD,
or AUX. After removing a data carrier, the unit
switches to tuner operation.

Slide in a CD with the lettering upwards so
far into the slot until it is retracted
automatically. The display indicates LOAD.

Insert USB devices into the USB port. The
display indicates USB.

Insert a memory card with the contacts
pointing to the left and the notched corner
downwards so far into the card slot until it is
engaged. The display indicates CARD.

For MP3 files the display shows MP3. After
reading in a data carrier, the total number of
titles and files will be displayed and then the
playback of the first title is started
automatically. During the playback, the
display indicates the elapsed time of the
current title in minutes and seconds. For
MP3 and WMA files the display will
additionally show scrolling text information:
song, artist, album.

Playback can be interrupted at any time with
the button [
/1]. The display indicates
PAUSE.

For ejecting a CD press the button [ ]. The
display indicates OPEN. If the CD is not
removed from the slot within 10 seconds, it is
retracted automatically. To remove a USB
device, disconnect it from the USB port. To
eject a memory card, slightly press it into the
slot until it comes out and can be removed.
Prior to removing a device, always terminate
the playback with the button [
/1].
Otherwise damage or loss of data may
occur.
Selecting Titles and Folders

With the buttons [
▲
] and [
▼
], you can skip
one title or several titles in forward or
backward direction. Each time the button
[
▲
]
is pressed, the unit will advance one title. By
pressing the button [
▼
], the unit will go back
one title.
