General CD Receiver Functions
Put the receiving antenna in a vertical position
and switch on the CD receiver with the button [ ].
Selecting the Source
After switching on, the unit is in tuner mode. The
button [
MODE
] allows switching over to another
source. Press the button so many times until the
desired source is indicated in the display: Tuner,
CD, USB, CARD, or AUX. With CD, USB, and
CARD, the playback of the first title on the data
carrier selected will start.
* The sources CD, USB, and CARD can only be
selected if they are ready or inserted.
Volume and Tone Adjustments

Turn the press control [
VOL/SEL
], to adjust
the volume.

Press the press control [
VOL/SEL
], to call the
menu items for tone adjustment. Press the
control so many times until the desired menu
item is indicated in the display: BAS (low
frequencies), TREB (high frequencies), BAL
(left/right level balance). Turn the control to
set the desired value. By long actuation of the
control, you exit the menu. The setting
procedure will also be stopped if the control is
not actuated for 5 seconds.
* The low and high frequencies can only be
adjusted when the equalizer setting Cust
(custom) was selected with the button
[
LOUD
].

By long actuation of the button [
LOUD
], the
loudness function can be switched on. The
function boosts low and high frequencies to
produce a well-balanced sound during low
volume.

Shortly press the button [
LOUD
], to call the
equalizer menu. To select an equalizer
setting, press the button so many times until
the desired menu item is indicated in the
display: Pop, Classic, Rock M, Cust
(Custom).

For muting the sound, press the button
[
MUTE
] (indication MUTE is flashing). To
switch on the sound again, press the button
[
MUTE
] once again.
Clock Indication

Actuate the button [
CLK
] for shortly switching
the display to clock indication.

During the clock indication, the adjusting
mode for the clock can be activated by long
actuation of the button [
CLK
] (the hours are
flashing).
