USING THE GATEWAY WITH TAGLAB
TagLab is a development tool which is provide with the ProVIEW Starter Kits, allowing for simple communication with the
Power and View tag families. It provides a quick means for testing and evaluating Omni-ID equipment in a specific
environment for system development is complete.
To connect to the Gateway in the TagLab application,
select ‘File | New Network Gateway’. The following screen will be
shown:
Enter the address of the Gateway in the “Gateway IP Addr” field. The Gateway IP Service Port will default to 80. Leave this
value. When you press the Ping button, the application will check to see if there is a device on the network at that address
and then ascertain whether or not the device is an Omni-ID Gateway. When successful, you will see a message like this:
