4.3 Setup and Operation Using a Web Browser

Start your web browser.

•

In the URL field, type

http://eisxxxx

using the last four-digits from the MAC

address label located on the device (see

Figure 3.1

) if DHCP and DNS are used.

•

If a static IP address is used, then simply type

http://x.x.x.x

, where

x.x.x.x

is the

iServer’s IP address.

•

The Home Page will be displayed.

If a blank screen appears without any “java application running” or image of a
“Java logo”, please verify you have the latest Java Runtime Environment
installed and setup according to the following instructions in

Section 4.5

. If you

do not have Java Runtime Environment, you may download it from our website
or contact the Customer Service Department nearest you.
