CONTROLS
CONTROL KNOBS:
There are 2 control knobs at the top of the tower fan.
A)
The rear knob is used to control the fan speed. There are 3 fan speeds available
(LOW, MID & HIGH). Rotate the control knob to the right hand to run the fan without
oscillation. Rotate the control knob to the left hand side to run the fan with oscillation.
Rotate the control knob to the top or bottom to turn the fan off.
B)
The front control knob is a mechanical timer (a maximum setting of 2 hours). Leave
the knob at the top position (ON) to run the tower fan without using the timer. To use
the timer, rotate the control knob clockwise to the desired time. The control knob will
slowly rotate back (anti-clockwise) until it gets to the “OFF” position, at which point the
fan will stop running. The timer can be increased (not decreased) at any time simply
by adjusting the position of the control knob. To disable, rotate back to the On
position.
Note: Do not rotate clockwise past 120, as it will damage the internal mechanism.
OPERATING THE TOWER FAN:
With the power cord plugged in, it is time to turn the tower fan on by rotating the rear control
knob to the desired fan speed (make sure the timer control knob is pointing to “ON”).
a)
Choose a fan speed by rotating the rear knob either left (with oscillation) or right (without oscillation).
b)
If needed, set the timer by rotating the front control knob clockwise past “OFF”.
c)
Turn the fan off by turning the rear control knob either to the top or bottom (Off).
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
WARNING:
ALWAYS UNPLUG THE CORD BEFORE MOVING OR SERVICING, DO NOT
IMMERSE APPLIANCE IN WATER!
The fan should be cleaned periodically (at least once a month depending on the build-up of dust).
Clean the body of the tower fan with a soft damp cloth. Always make sure that the appliance is completely dry before
connecting back to the mains supply.
CAUTION: Do not use gasoline, benzene, thinner, harsh cleaners, etc. as they will damage the tower fan. NEVER use
ALCOHOL OR SOLVENTS.
Open the rear cover and take out the mesh filter. Wash under water, rinse & dry. Replace filter & close rear cover.
Do not disassemble the fan in any other manner.
STORAGE: Store the tower fan with these instructions in the original packaging, in a cool, dry place.
