6 Solving problems Another problem has cropped up

To make it easier and quicker for them to assist you, you can best proceed as
follows:
1)
Please clarify beforehand when and under which circumstances the problem
arose. The best way to do this, is if you can clearly reproduce the problem/error.
2)
Tell them the operating system you use (see chapter 6.2.5 on page 31) and the
software you want to operate your camera with.
3)
Make screen shots of (error) messages that appear on your monitor or make a
note of their exact wording.
To obtain a screen shot of the active MS-Windows window, use the
keyboard shortcut [Alt+Print]. A copy of the window is then stored in the
MS-Windows clipboard. You can insert this into an e-mail or an application
program by using the shortcut [Ctrl+V].

Should problems with the image quality crop up, save an image on which the
problem can clearly be seen, in TIF format. Insert this image in your e-mail to
our Customer Service.

Send the e-mail with a description of your problem and the details about your
software and operating system, along with possible attachments, to the e-mail
address: support.osis@olympus-sis.com
