The image stabilizer is
deactivated. This is recommended
for shooting when the camera is

xed in place on a tripod or other
stable surface.
ON
The image stabilizer is used for
taking pictures.
The default settings are [ON] for [IMAGE
STABILIZER] (still images) and [OFF] for
[DIS MOVIE MODE] (movies).
Images may not be stabilized if camera
shake is too severe.
At very slow shutter speeds (for example
when using still picture shooting mode or
taking night photographs), some images
may not acquire the proper stabilization
effect.
When [DIS MOVIE MODE] (movies) is set to
[ON] during shooting, the recorded images
will be slightly magni
fi
ed.

Panorama shooting lets you create a
panoramic picture, using the OLYMPUS
Master 2 software on the provided CD-ROM.
An Olympus xD-Picture Card is required
for panoramic shooting. Cards by other
manufacturers do not support panoramic
shooting.
Panoramic shooting is not available using a
microSD card in the microSD Attachment.
