4. Maintenance and Troubleshooting
This chapter details the maintenance tasks to be performed on the EPOCH 6LT
ultrasonic flaw detector and provides a troubleshooting guide.
4.1
Battery Replacement
Perform the following procedure to replace the battery.
To remove the battery
1.
Hold the EPOCH 6LT so the battery compartment cover is facing up as shown in
Figure 4-1 on page 39.
2.
Press the battery compartment cover release button and slide it to the right.

3.
Lift the cover to the fully open position (see Figure 4-2 on page 40).
