Face priority AF/Eye priority AF
The camera automatically detects and focuses on the faces or eyes of portrait
subjects. When digital ESP metering is used, exposure will be weighted according to
the value metered for the face.

H
to display the AF target.

Select an option using the rear dial.

Face Priority On The camera detects and focuses on faces.
N Face Priority Off Face priority AF off.
K
Face & Eye Priority On
The camera detects faces and focuses on the eye closest
to the camera.
3 Point the camera at your subject.
• If a face is detected, it will be indicated by a white
frame.

Press the shutter button halfway to focus.
• When the camera focuses on the face in the white
frame, the frame will turn green.
