Focusing and shooting functions

Dynamic-single target AF mode
If the camera cannot focus on the subject using the
selected AF target, the camera focuses using the adjacent
AF target.
• When the button is released, the currently selected AF
target lights. When

N
is set, you can select the
AF target to be used at that point. For operation, refer to
Step 2 in “Selecting the AF target position” (

in the next section.

is set, you can turn the dial to select
the AF target.

Selecting the AF target position
Select the AF target to use with Single target AF mode.

button and release your finger to enable selection of the AF target.

Use the main dial/sub dial or arrow pad to select
the AF target.
• Use the main dial to perform the same operation as

, and use the sub dial to perform the same
operation as

.
• Press the

button to return the position of the AF target
to the center.
