Inserting Batteries into the Motion
Detector
1 Connect the 9V battery to the battery clip
and place the 9V battery into the battery
compartment.
2 Close the battery compartment. The lock
engages audibly.
Registering the Motion Detector on the
Base Unit
You must register the motion detector on the
base unit. When the motion detector detects
a movement and triggers, it sends a signal
to the base unit and the base unit alarm
sounds.
1 Press the Register sensor function key
on the base unit of the alarm system.
2 Trigger the Motion detector by pressing
the sabotage protection.
Positioning the Motion Detector
Stand or hang the motion detector in a suita-
ble position to monitor the required area.
The motion detector detects movements
within the scanning area of up to 12 m with
an angle of vision of 110°. The optimum
installation height is about 2 - 3 m above the
ground.
