Positioning the Door/Window Contact
The door/window contact serves to monitor
the position of doors and windows.
Important! Before starting to position
the sensors, take into account that
walls, ceilings and sources of electrical
disturbance can impair wireless com-
munication.
Use the assembly material sup-
plied (e.g. to compensate for
height diff erences). Clean the
installation location of all types
of dirt before assembling the
door/window contact.
1 Assemble the door/window contact on a
window or door to be monitored as illus-
trated.
2 Ensure the distance between the magnetic
contact and transmitter is a maximum of 5
mm when the window/door is closed.
3 Ensure the same height of the magnetic
contact and transmitter at the marking
arrows.
