could damage the product.

Intended Use
The bank note validator, subsequently re-
ferred to as the device, serves to control bank
notes according to their most important secu-
rity features. Any other use is considered un-
intended use. Unauthorised modification or
reconstruction is not permitted. Under no cir-
cumstances open the device or complete any
repair work yourself.
Despite comprehensive testing by an appro-
priately approved authority, it is impossible to
fully rule out the risk that a counterfeit bank
note is not detected. In the same way, an au-
thentic bank note can be detected as being
faulty due to soiling or some other external
influence. Therefore, test bank notes detected
as being faulty several times and, in the case
of doubt, consult your bank institution.

Switching On and Off
The capacity of the battery when fully
charged is sufficient for about 90 minutes.
When this time has expired, the device
switches off without issuing any prior warning.
It is possible that data being displayed will not
be stored. Therefore, conclude your work in
good time or connect the device to an exter-
nal power supply.

Connect the power cable to the device and
plug it into a properly installed power socket.
