Remove the machine carefully from the packaging.

Position the metal frame (1) on a solid base near a power socket.
Ensure that the machine (2) is fitted properly on the metal frame (1).

Open the cover (3) of the paper feed (4). Insert the tabs (5) of the
paper feed support (6) in the openings (7) provided for them in the
paper feed (4).

Now assemble the folding plates (8).
Note:
There are two basic settings available for selection according to
the respective arrangements of the folding plates (8). Please pay
attention to sections 3-1 and 3-2.
3-1
Assembling the folding plates (8) for double fold, fanfold and Z fold.
3-1-1 Slide the front folding plate (#1 fold plate) (8.1), with the open side at
the front, along the guide line label provided as far as possible in the
machine (2).
3-1-2 Fix the folding plate (8.1) in place by allowing it to engage on the pins
provided.
Note:
When positioning the folding plate (8), pay attention that, after
insertion, it is parallel to the label (#1 fold plate).
3-1-3 Slide the rear folding plate (#2 fold plate) (8.2), with the open side at
the front, along the guide line label provided as far as possible in the
machine (2).
3-1-4 Fix the folding plate (8.2) in place by allowing it to engage on the pins
provided.
Note:
When positioning the folding plate (8.2), pay attention that it is
parallel to the label (#2 fold plate), after insertion.

Assembling the folding plates (8) for single folds.
3-1-2 Slide the front folding plate (#1 fold plate) (8.1), with the open side at
the front, along the guide line label provided as far as possible in the
machine (2).
3-2-2 Fix the folding plate (8.1) in place by allowing it to engage on the pins
provided.
Note:
When positioning the folding plate (8), pay attention that it is
parallel to the label (#1 fold plate) after insertion.
3-2-3 Slide the rear folding plate (#2 fold plate) (8.2), with the closed side at
the front, along the guide line label provided as far as possible in the
machine (2).
3-2-4 Fix the folding plate (8.2) in place by allowing it to engage on the pins
provided.
