Using the Cutting Device
Caution ! Risk of injury through sharp edge of cutting mechanism. The underside
of the cutting mechanism has a sharp blade. Do not take hold of the cutting
head

on the underside.

Guide the paper/foil between the stops

and under the ruler

you reach the required cutting position.
Use the positioning aids

on the top of the laminator to align the material to be
cut as required.

Press the cutting head

down firmly in order to produce a good cut and slide the cutting
head

over the paper/pouch. Fix the material in place with your hand so that it does not
shift while being cut.

The paper/pouch has been cut as required.
Using the Corner Rounder
The corner rounder

is on the underside of the laminator.
Caution ! Risk of injury through sharp cutting device! Do not touch the cutting
blade of the corner rounder

Pull the corner rounder

out of its holder.

Fit a corner of the paper/pouch in the corner rounder

Press the corner rounder

together.

If necessary, repeat the process on all the corners of the paper/pouch.

The corners of the paper/pouch have been rounded.
Troubleshooting
The following information should provide help if something is not working as would be expected.
Locating Errors
If the laminator does not start up as normal, please check the following points first of all:
■ Ensure that the device has been plugged in, switched on and that the fuse in the plug is
working correctly.
■ Ensure that the device is not jammed with paper.
■ Allow the device to cool down for 40 minutes if the motor has overheated and the thermal
shutdown has been triggered. The device should then start up again automatically.
