Minimum distances from fl ammable objects
ū No objects made from fl ammable material may be present or
placed in the radiation range of the pellet fi replace (min. distance
of 800 mm, measured from the viewing window in the combus-
tion chamber door).
ū The distance from the pellet fi replace to fl ammable materials or
walls to be protected must be at least 50 mm at the rear and to
the sides.
ū The minimum distance to the side and front is 800 mm from the
heat radiation range of the panels.
ū The distance from the exhaust pipe to fl ammable objects must be
at least 95 mm.
Spark protection plate (Königshütte recommendation)
ū Olsberg recommends using a sturdy and non-fl ammable spark
protection plate with fl ammable fl oors or carpets.
ū The spark protection plate should protrude forwards by 50 cm
and 30 cm to the sides around the combustion chamber open-
ing here.
ū No spark protection plate is required under the pellet stove and
under the exhaust pipe.
Humidity and living space temperatures
ū The pellet fi replace is designed for operation in living spaces with
normal humidity and living space temperatures of +5 °C to +25
°C (ambient temperature during operation). Safety devices may
come into eff ect during operation at higher temperatures. Please
observe the appropriate information concerning heating opera-
tion here.
Splash protection
ū The pellet fi replace does not have splash protection and may not
be placed in wet rooms.
Installation surface
ū The installation surface must be even, horizontal and suffi ciently
load-bearing.
Combustion air supply
The pellet fi replace is exclusively operated with an open fl ue.

Please ensure that the pellet fi replace has suffi cient combustion
air. The cross section of the combustion air line may not be less
than D = 80 mm.
Exhaust system and chimney design
The chimney dimensions are in accordance with DIN EN 13384 2
and in accordance with the country-specifi c regulations.

If the pump pressures are too high (> 20 Pa), then you should set
up pump pressure limitation (e.g. draft regulator in the chimney)!

Set the required pump pressure at the exhaust gas outlet to 0 Pa
for the chimney calculation!
Multiple use of the chimney is possible with special approval
(contact the district master chimney sweep).
The chimney must correspond to a temperature class soot fi re resist-
ance of at least T400.
Warning! Serious personal injury and environmental
damage owing to hazardous combustion gases!
Combustion gases in the installation room which occur as a
result of a blocked chimney are dangerous. The chimney, con-
nector and flue gas tract must be free from obstructions and
cleaned in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Only permitted fuels may be used!
