SELLING ITEMS BELONGING TO A DEPARTMENT
For sales of an item belonging to a department, an item (PLU) must be linked to the
department. The item can then be accessed after selecting first the department.
Note: If more than 15 PLUs are programmed, the remainder are displayed in the
following pages viewable using the keys: [Previous] and [Next].
Operating Procedure
1. SET VAT RATE
(Set setup environment)
For the VAT rate, you can program a description
and the related value (for more information refer to
the chapter related to setting the VAT rate –
SET308).

PROGRAM DEPARTMENTS
(Set setup environment)
Program the departments using the SET 401
command (in the example below CAFETERIA is
programmed).

PROGRAM ITEMS (PLU)

Program the items (PLU) using the SET 802
command (in the example below COFFEE, TEA,
CAPPUCCINO, are programmed). For each
ITEM/PLU enter the price, other optional
parameters and the DEPT to which it belongs. For
more information, refer to the chapter related to
item programming – SET802.
