(3) Cleaning the staple

During periodic maintenance, remove all the staples remaining inside the machine due to failure of stapling.

Procedure

1. Open the front and left covers of the

machine.

2. Open the staple cover and then remove the

staple cartridge.

3. Remove the clip holder.
4. Remove three screws securing the staple

cover and then the cover.

Figure 1-5-4

5. Remove the staples attracted to the magnet

on the inside of the staple cover.

6. Refit the staple cover, staple cartridge and

clip holder.

7. Close the left and front covers.
