Section 9 TROUBLESHOOTING

Pull the paper conveyor unit out towards you as far as it will
go.

Open the upper cover to the fixing unit.

Hold open the upper cover and remove any jammed paper.

WARNING

High voltage is present in the charger section. Take
sufficient care when working in this area, as there is
a danger of electrical shock.

CAUTION

The copier’s fixing unit is extremely hot. Take
sufficient care when working in this area, as there is
a danger of getting burned.

Open the left cover to the fixing unit and remove any jammed
paper.

Close both the left cover and the upper cover to the fixing
unit.

Replace the paper conveyor unit in its original position in the
copier.

Push the green release lever (B) back up to its original
position.

Close the front cover.
