CHANGING THE BLADES
WARNING
NEVER ATTEMPT TO CLEAN OR SERVICE THIS MACHINE UNTIL
IT HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED FROM THE POWER SUPPLY AND
YOU ARE SURE THE BLADES HAVE STOPPED. ALSO REMEMBER
TO USE CARE WHENEVER YOU ARE WORKING NEAR THE BLADES.
CHANGING THE BLADES
•
Remove the OVERHEAD HOLDDOWN AND CHUTE GUARD ASSEMBLY by
removing the six knobs which hold it in place. Lift it clear of the machine and set it
aside. See “Maintenance/Cleaning/Lubrication ” in this manual for instruction on how
to remove the OVERHEAD HOLDDOWN AND CHUTE GUARD ASSEMBLY.

Using a 7/16 inch hex wrench remove the three screws securing each BLADE to the
hub and lift the BLADE from the machine.
