Replacing the Image Drum Cartridge

Replacing the Image Drum Cartridge
Turn off the printer and open the cover (1). Lift the cartridge out, with the toner
cartrdge in place (2). Unpack the new cartridge and remove the foam insert. Place
the new cartridge into the printer (3).The drum will sit in the printer; the closed
cover will hold it in place. Install a new toner cartridge.

Reset the drum counter (

).

You can use the toner cartridge from the old drum if the toner was recently replaced.
To avoid spilling toner, follow instructions for removing and reinstalling toner cartridge
carefully. If you get toner on clothing, brush it off with a dry cloth. Wash clothing in cold
water. Hot water sets toner.
