7.6.1 Notes on the power-saving feature
The power-saving feature can be set to the default power-saving function, suspend function, or sleep function
before PAN and ASSOCIATE are executed (the default power-saving function will be in effect after the power
is turned on).
Follow the instructions below when using the suspend or sleep function:
1) Cancel the suspend or sleep function when making an MLME-ASSOCIATE.REQUEST.
Set the suspend or sleep function after association is complete.
2) Cancel the suspend or sleep function when making an MLME-SYNC.REQUEST.
Set the suspend or sleep function after synchronization is complete.
Super frame continuation time at the maximum may be necessary for synchronization.
3) Cancel the suspend or sleep function when using an MLME-SET.REQUEST to set macRxOnWhenIdle to
TRUE. To make the suspend or sleep function effective, make sure to set macRxOnWhenIdle to FALSE
first.
4) Do not execute an MLME-RXENABLE.REQUEST while the supend or sleep function is in effect.
Make sure to cancel the suspend or sleep mode before executing it.
