Advanced operations

To change the printer’s basic settings

Turn the warning beep off 

Normally, the printer emits a warning beep when an error occurs. However, the warning beep can be turned off for 
the three following cases. 

  -   When the print heads are not covered by the caps (during daily maintenance operations, print head 

height adjustment, or when a media jam occurs) 

  -   When a media take-up error occurs 
  -   When the ink runs out or ink cartridges are not installed 
  - When the front cover is open
  - When media wrinkles are detected with safe scanning
