MEMORY

This section explains how to install additional RAM memory into your printer as a memory

upgrade.

CODES

Use the following order codes for additional memory:

256MB RAM – 01182901

512MB RAM – 01182902

EMORY

UPGRADE

The basic printer model comes equipped with 128MB of main memory. This can be

upgraded with an additional memory board containing 256MB or 512MB, giving a maximum

total memory capacity of 640MB.

Switch the printer off and disconnect the AC power cable.

Press the cover release and open the printer’s top cover fully.

Remove each image drum unit, starting with the front. Cover the image drum units

to protect them from direct light

WARNING!

If the printer has been powered on recently, the fuser will be hot.

This area is clearly labelled. Do not touch.
