> > Blind sewing
1. Turn the knob (17) and select the desired stitch from “4 to 2” (Fig. F32).
2. Raise the foot (13) by pressing the foot lifting lever (8) upwards, pull the coil thread
and the upper thread backwards for about 10 cm (Fig. F33).
3. Position the fabric under the foot (13) and press the foot lifting lever (8) downwards
(Fig. F34).
4. Move the selector (18) to “A” or “B” (Fig. F35).
5. Switch on the appliance by pressing the switch (7) on “I” or “II” (Fig. F36).
6. Gently press the pedal (26) with your foot to start sewing (Fig. F37).
7. After finishing sewing, turn the handwheel (6) counterclockwise to raise the needle
(10) to the highest position.
Raise the foot (13) by pressing the foot lifting lever (8) upwards, then remove the
fabric and cut the thread with the appropriate thread cutter (11).
> > Buttonhole sewing
1. Turn the knob (17) to “7” (Fig. F32).
2. Move the selector (18) to “C” (Fig. F35).
3. Raise the foot (13) by pressing the foot lifting lever (8) upwards.
Position the fabric under the foot (13) and press the lever (8) downwards to lower the
foot; gently press the pedal (26) with your foot to start sewing.
4. Turn the knob (17) to “9” (Fig. F32).
5. Move the selector (18) to “D” (Fig. F35).
6. Sewing stops at 5/6 stitches and the half is completed (Fig. F39).
7. To conclude the other half, repeat the procedure from point “1” (Fig. F40).
8. Once you have finished sewing, turn the handwheel (6) counterclockwise to raise the
needle (10) to the highest position.

fabric and cut the thread with the appropriate thread cutter (11).

1. Slightly press the thread clamp (22) of the thread to make sure there are no thread
jams (Fig. F42).
2. Adjust the tension adjustment knob (23) according to the type of tension present
(see below) (Fig. F43).
