The Dynamics Knee Orthosis Classic
relieves your knee after injuries or operations.
Its two-axis joints follow the natural
movement of the knee within a defined
range of motion. This can be individually
adjusted.

Fitting instructions
The pictures that go with the fitting instructions
can be found on the inside cover (2) at the start
of the brochure.

To put the knee orthosis on, open the Velcro straps
on the rounded end and pull them out of the eyelet.
When putting the orthosis on, please be aware that
it gets narrower at the lower end. Put the orthosis
against the front of your slightly bent leg. It is
correctly positioned if the centre of the joint is in line
with the lower edge of the kneecap.

Ensure that you close the Velcro straps in the right
order. Close the upper strap on the back of the lower
leg first (1) by inserting it through the eyelet provided
and fastening it tightly. Then close the lower strap on
the back of the thigh (2) and then the lower one on
the back of the lower leg (3).

Then close the front Velcro straps on the shin (4) and
the thigh (5) and finally the upper strap on the back
of the thigh (6). Ensure that the product is secure but
not too tight so as to prevent pinching.
Important information
– The initial fitting and adjustment of the product
as well as instructions on its proper and safe use
should be provided by trained medical/orthopaedic
specialists.

– The product should only be used for the indications in
the adjacent column.
– Check the product to ensure it is working and check
it for wear and damage before each use. You should
also ensure it is fitted correctly. Do not use a product
that is damaged.
– Wear the product directly on the skin. It should only be
worn over intact skin. If it is to be worn in combination
with other products, please discuss this with your
doctor first.
– Unless otherwise prescribed, the product should
be removed during long periods of rest (e.g. when
sleeping).
– If you experience an unpleasant sensation, severe pain
or other symptoms while wearing the product, remove
it and contact your doctor or specialist supplier.
– We use a comprehensive quality assurance system
to check our products. If you have any complaints,
however, please contact your specialist supplier.
