Planetary Final Drive Service Manual

Cover Disassembly

1.

Remove the O-Ring (5) from groove in the Cover Plate (6A) and discard it.

2.

Remove Thrust Washer (6J) from pockets in the Cover Plate (6A).

3.

Remove Pipe Plugs (6H) from the Cover Plate (6A).

4.

Remove the Hex Head Bolts (6C) from the Disengage Cap (6D), if required.

5.

Remove the Disengage Cap (6D) from the Cover Cap (6B).

6.

Pull the Disengage Rod (6E) out of the Cover Plate (6A).

7.

Remove O-Ring (6K) from the Cover Cap (6B) and discard it.

8.

Remove O-Ring (6F) from Cover Cap (6B) and discard it.

9.

Remove Hex Head Bolt (6L) from Cover Cap (6B).

10.

Remove Cover Cap (6B) from Cover Plate (6A).

11.

Remove O-Ring (6G) and discard it.

This concludes the Cover Disassembly.
