Product Description
The CX12M is a compact, very high output, high definition, coaxial 2
-
way passive loudspeaker designed for floor monitor applications. It is
part of OEM’s full line of CX Series premium loudspeakers which are
designed to provide unmatched sonic quality at very high sound
pressure levels.
OEM Audio has designed the CX15M with a 15” cast frame coaxial
transducer with a 4” edge wound voice coil woofer for maximum heat
transfer and efficiency. The coaxially mounted compression driver
incorporates an edge wound 3” aluminum wire voice coil with a high
strength aluminum dome and a specially designed Mylar surround
structure.
The Hi-Q crossover network provides superior overload protection yet
preserves its sound character even when the CX15M is driven with
highly dynamic program material. This results in remarkable clarity
and consistency of the CX15M even when driven at very high levels.
Two NL4 connectors are provided for input and loop output which
are mounted into the enclosure’s recessed rear plate.
The specially designed shape of the CX15M provides the optimum
angle for use as a professional stage monitor. Because of its
symmetrical coverage angle as a coaxial, it can also be used a side fill
or other full range uses when setup on its side panel.

ply Baltic birch (18 mm
side, top and bottom panels) with optimized bracing to minimize
resonances and improve damping. Cabinet surfaces are finished in a
highly durable two-part polyuria coating. The CX15M enclosure
provides the strength and durability needed for a high degree of
safety and reliability whether it is used in portable or fixed
installation applications.
A cutaway handle is located in the front of the cabinet for easy
lifting and moving of the CX15M.
The CX15M addresses a wide range of live sound applications from
portable to commercial venues due to its compact size and multiple
use positions. The CX15M is sonically matched with the other CX
loudspeaker models for perfect integration into complete sound
systems.
