To read an encrypted CD or DVD in any CD-ROM or DVD-ROM, there is a decoder for each operating
system. This decoder is a JAVA application, if you don’t have a JAVA virtual machine, you can
download it at
http://java.sun.com
•
WinDecode for Windows ;
•
LinuxDecode for Linux
•
MacOSDecode for MacOS.
This decoder is automatically started when
you insert the media in the drive.
Enter the password used to encrypt the files,
the level of encryption used and Click on
Submit.
Caution
: Depending of the power of your
system, it can take several minutes to decode
a full disk.
When the decoding is done, you will have to
select the files you want to extract from the
CD.

Use the arrow to add or remove files from your selection
•
Click on [
Copy selected files
] to start the extraction
•
Select the destination directory on the next window.
All the selected files will be decoded and copied to this location.
