Changing EDID mode:
It is recommended to keep the EDID in the factory default MODE1.
If necessary, you may set to different EDID mode by following these
instructions.
Step Video Reference Note
1 Unplug all cables and the
power from the HDMXA71
2 Set the DIP switch 1-5 to the
down position as shown

3 Refer to the EDID Table
(page 14).
Set the DIP switches to the
EDID you wish to program to.

4 Plug in the 5V Power
5 Verify LED is indicating the
EDID mode selected to
program.

4 Press the A button to start
programming.
5 The LED will count from 1-99
6 Wait until LED completes
counting to 99. When LED
shows
“1 1” programing is
completed.

7 Set DIP Switch #5 to the
LOCK position as shown.

8 Connect all video sources and
displays to Matrix.

Re-power the Matrix.
