Le symbole signifie que l'élimination sélective des composants en
fin de vie du produit doit se faire conformément aux prescriptions
en vigueur dans les Etats membres de l'Union Européenne. La
barre noire indique que le règlement entrera en vigueur après le
13 août 2005. Directive : Directive/2002/96/EC.

En République populaire de Chine, la période « Environmental
Protection Use Period (EPUP) » est égale à 20 ans pour les
systèmes d'impression.
La période EPUP, qui ne concerne pas les consommables et les
pièces d'usure conformément aux prescriptions, n'affecte pas la
responsabilité en cas de défauts et n'entraîne pas de garantie
spécifique pour les systèmes d'impression.
