Points to note

Downloading files via the print data stream is similar to data streams which contain in-line 
graphic images, except that the DJDE command used to separate the file data form the 
print data is ”DJDE FILE=”.  Unlike interleaved graphics, however, the default option is to 
store these files in the current resource libraries, so that they can be used automatically ei-
ther by the current and/or subsequent applications (acting like  ...OUTPUT...PURGE=
NO and/or DJDE-SAVE=ALL).

The usage of resources (*.img, *.fnt, *.frm) means, that - without further actions/operator 
interventions - the resources can be called by DJDE (directly or through JDL/JDE) as well 
as they can be called by a form (*.fnt, *.img, *.lgo).

Supported file types

Only the following file types are processed by the LCDS-Module. All other file types are 
skipped without further comment:

 parameter is also a single character used to describe 

how the printing system should store the file when the report that contains the 
file is finished printing.  A ”D” here indicates that the file should be deleted and 
a ”P” (the default value) is used to make the file permanent. Since nearly all 
files will need to be converted with this printing system, the LCDS-Module ig-
nores this option and places the file in a separate file catalog that is provided 
by the input processing modules ready for subsequent conversion.
