Mechanical Problem
The keys displayed on the screen vary depending
upon the optional devices connected. In the
manual, in order to explain all functions, explana-
tions are given with screens for the case with all
conceivable options connected. For options
required in each mode, refer to the location ex-
plaining them.
When making consecutive copies onto transparen-
cies, transparencies may stick together and be fed
together. When paper jams occur because of this,
fan the transparencies and separate them one by
one. Also, after copying has completed, return the
remaining transparencies to the box and store
away from high temperature and humidity.
When the Feeder is connected and an original is
set on the platen glass, the original size cannot be
detected with the Feeder lowered, even if the
Original Size Recognition function is ON. In order
to make copies with the correct size, make the
copies with the Feeder lifted, or cancel Auto Paper
Selection in the paper selection mode.
The Stapler Sorter or Film Projector power cord
may be unplugged. Check the respective power
plugs.
The selection of keys on the screen is
different from those in the manual.
When making copies onto transparencies,
several transparencies come out at once.
When an original is set on the platen
glass, the message “Manually select the
paper size.” is displayed.
The Sorter or Projector key is not
displayed.
