• The light may only be used when mounted inside
and outside.
• The user of the device must have read and
understood these operating instructions prior to
its first use in order to safely implement this
device.
• Always keep the operating instructions within
reach.
• If you sell or pass on the device, you must also
pass on these operating instructions.
• The device must only be used when it functions
properly. If the device or part of the device is
defective, have it repaired by a specialist.
• When drilling into wall, ceilings or floors pay
attention to cables as well as gas and water
pipes.
• The electrical connection may only be carried
out by an appropriately qualified professional.
• Only use bulbs permitted by the manufacturer.

• Only use connection clamps permitted by the
manufacturer.
• Only allow repairs to be carried out by a profes-
sional electrician.
• The bulb becomes hot when used! Before
changing the bulb, allow to cool.

Cleaning
– Clean the unit with a cloth and clean water (if
necessary with a little washing up liquid added).
Wipe with a dry cloth.
– Stainless steel surfaces should be cleaned regu-
larly with a commercially available stainless steel
cleaning agent, to prevent the build-up of rust
streaks.
– Do not use abrasive or sharp objects or aggres-
sive cleaning agents.
Disposal
Disposing of the device
Devices with this symbol may not be dis-
posed of in household waste. You are obli-
gated to dispose of such electrical and elec-
tronic devices separately.
Contact your community authorities for information
regarding the correct disposal of the device.
By disposing of the device correctly you are ensuring
that it will be recycled or processed for reuse. This
helps to prevent hazardous material from damaging
the environment.
Disposing of the packaging
The packaging consists of cardboard and marked
plastics that can be recycled.
– Take these materials to a recycling centre.
