Clean the inner side of the base unit with a damp cloth with a little cleansing
agent, alternatively use a washing-up brush. Wipe with a damp cloth to
remove the cleansing agent.

Wipe the outer surface of the appliance with a damp cloth.

If you are not going to use the appliance for some time, pour out all water
from the water tank and check that there is no water in the water tube.
