Safety instructions
1. Read the instruction manual carefully before use, and save
it for future use.
2. Plug the appliance to a household outlet of 230V only, and
use the appliance only for the intended use.
3. Always unplug the appliance from the mains supply when
not in use, after use and when assembling and disassembling,
and before cleaning and maintenance.
4. Do not immerse the percolator in water or any other liquid.
5. Before the percolator is filled with water, always unplug the
appliance
6. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of
the appliance in a safe way by a person responsible for their
safety and they understand the hazards involved.
7. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance. Children are not always able to
understand potential risks. Teach children a responsible
handling of electrical appliances.
8. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children,
unless they are over the age of 8 and supervised.
9. Check that the cord is not hanging over the edge of the table.
10. Do not place the appliance on or near hotplates, open fire
or the like.
11. The appliance should only be used under supervision.
12. Before plugging in the appliance, check that the lid is correctly
placed on the appliance.
13. Never remove the lid during operation.
14. To switch off the appliance, it must be unplugged from the
power supply.
15. The automatic coffee percolator has an automatic safety
device and will switch off should the percolator be used
without water. If this occurs, disconnect the power supply
and allow the appliance to cool off before filling with water
and then operate as normal.
