• The signal lamp goes on to indicate that the soleplate is in the process of
heating.
• When the signal lamp goes out, the set temperature has been reached and
you can start ironing. Note that the signal lamp goes on and off during ironing.
Dry ironing
• For dry ironing, turn the steam button to “0” or . This turns off the steam
flow if there is water in the water tank.
• Turn the thermostat switch to the wanted material/temperature setting. Use
the table below as a reference.
• The signal lamp goes on. Position the iron vertically on its heel during heating.
• When the signal lamp goes out, the set temperature has been reached.
Steam ironing
As indicated on the thermostat switch, steam ironing is only possible at high
temperatures between
• •
and MAX.
• Make sure that there is always sufficient water in the water tank.
• Position the iron vertically on its heel and plug.
• Set the wanted temperature within the steam range (between • • and MAX).
• When the signal lamp goes out and goes on again you can start ironing.
• Turn the steam button to the wanted position.
• WARNING! Never point at people due to the risk of fire burns.
IMPORTANT!
If you use the steam function it is important to keep children away due to
the risk of burns. Keep your fingers off the jet of steam when this function
is on.
Burst of steam
• Make sure that there is always sufficient water in the water tank.
• Set the wanted temperature within the steam range (between
• •
and MAX).
• Press the steam button to generate a more powerful steam through the
steam opening at the underside of the soleplate.
NOTE!
• Wait until the iron has reached the steam or the maximum temperature
before you press the steam burst button.
• Do not press the steam burst button more than 3 times in a row. To achieve
the optimum effect, wait for at least four seconds between each pressing.
WARNING!
Never point at people due to the risk of fire burns.
