14. The appliance must not be used continuously wit-
hout a break. Maximum time of use: 4 minutes x 2,
then wait at least 20 minutes before the appliance
is used again.
15. Always examine appliance, cord and plug for da-
mage before use. If the supply cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer, or his ser-
vice agent or a similarly qualified person in order
to avoid a hazard.
16. For additional protection the installation of a re-
sidual current device (RCD) with a rated residual
operating current not exceeding 30 mA is re-
commended. Ask your installer for advice.
17. The appliance is for domestic use only.
18. If the appliance is used for other purposes than in-
tended, or is it not handled in accordance with the
instruction manual, the full responsibility for any
consequences will rest with the user. Any dama-
ges to the product or other things are not covered
by the warranty.

How to use the beaters
Position the mixer upright and hold on to the stem of the beaters, while
pushing them into the openings at the underside of the mixer. When you hear
a click, the beaters are locked. Position the speed selector at 0 and insert the
plug into a mains socket. The mixer is now ready for use.
Hold on to the handle of the mixer while inserting the beaters into the product
to be whipped. Use your thumb to select the speed level by pushing the speed
selector upwards or downwards - can be changed during mixing. Always start
at level 1. Move the beaters around in the bowl in order to obtain a consistent
blend.
