Before use
It is easy to fix a nice and pleasant meal with a little cheese and a little bit
of everything. The grill has 6 mini pans where you melt the cheese. Suitable
cheeses are for example Riddarost, Grevé, Herrgård, Gouda and Fontina. You
can also use other cheeses but remember that cheeses with 28% fat are the
most suitable. Cheese with less fat can get a rubbery consistency. It is nice to
serve the cheese with broccoli, union, cooked or baked potatoes, tomatoes,
mushroom, ham, salami etc. Use your imagination!
Let the whole family and friends create their own meal. Since the guests
almost make their own meal, hardly no preparation is needed. Relax together
with your guests!
Use
• Unpack the appliance and remove the packing material.
• Wash the grillplate and mini panders and dry well.
• Grease the pans and the grillplate with some cooking oil.
• Place the grill at the middle of the table. Place a heat resistant tray
underneath.
• Be aware that it may splatter during cooking.
• Remove the small pans and connect the appliance to the outlet.
• When you use the appliance for the first time some smoke may occur. This
is normal.
• Preheat the grill for 10 minutes.
• Put cheese in the pans and place them under the grill plate. The cheese
melts to a lovely bubbly golden brown mass - raclette! Pour the cheese
directly on the plate or over some of the other ingredients. Since the pans
have non-stick coating nothing will stick and the cheese glides out easily.
You can also place the other ingredients directly in the pans. Place the
cheese ontop and place under the grillplate. Let the cheese melt. Serve
with white bread for example.
