Reset
The kitchen scale has a practical resetting function, which means that all ingredients can be
weighed in one bowl, one at a time. After weighing of the first ingredient, reset the scale by
shortly pressing the “0” button.
After resetting the scale is ready for weighing the next ingredient. Remember to reset
after weighing of each individual ingredient. If the last weighed ingredient is removed after
resetting, its weight will be displayed with a minus sign. Press reset and the scale is ready for
use. If the scale has not been reset after weighing of the last ingredient and the ingredient is
removed,”0” will again be displayed on the scale.
If the scale is overloaded (more than 5 kg) ”Err” will be displayed. Remove the exceeding
ingredients from the scale and it will be ready for the next weighing.
Switch off
In order to save the battery, the scale will automatically switch off about 5 minutes after the last
operation, but you can also switch off the scale manually by pressing the “0” button for 3 seconds.
Fault indications
UnSt
Inaccuracy
The kitchen scale is inaccurate and will switch off automatically. Put the bowl on an even
surface and switch on the kitchen scale again by pressing the “0” button.
Err
Error
Weight or volume exceeds the maximum allowed load. The kitchen scale will emit a beep
sound to indicate that the load is exceeding 5 kg. Remove the extra ingredients from the
scale.
Calibration
In order to ensure accurate weighing we recommend that you regularly check that ”0” gram
or oz is displayed when you switch on the scale and the empty bowl is positioned on the
scale. If this is not the case, the kitchen scale needs calibration.
Calibration of the kitchen scale:
1. Put the empty, clean bowl on the kitchen scale.
2. Switch on the scale by pressing the “0” button.
