OBH Nordica waffleiron
Before use
Before you use the waffleiron you should read the instructions carefully and save them for
future use.
Unwind the cord. Clean the plates with a damp cloth and grease them with fat before you use
the appliance for the first time. The 2 first fried waffles should not be eaten.
Use
Plug the appliance to an outlet, the red pilotlamp will show. When the optimum temperature
is reached the pilotlamp will turn off. The appliance is ready for use.
Fry
Pour the batter in the middle of the lower plates and close the lid, press a few seconds so that
the batter is spread evenly. Do not press during the whole process though this will prevent the
waffle from rise. The pilotlamp will turn on and off during use, this does not affect the result.
Frying time
The frying time depends on the batter and how well fried you want the waffles. When you think
your waffles are ready, open the lid and remove the waffles with a plastic or wooden utensil
(metal can damage the coating). Place the waffles on a grid to keep the crispiness.
Cleaning
Always remove the plug from the outlet after use and before cleaning. Never clean the
appliance when plugged in. Let the iron cool. Never immerse the appliance or it´s cord in
water or any other liquid.
Use a damped sponge and mild detergent for cleaning of the plates. Never use sharp objects
to clean the plates since the coating can be
damaged. Dry the housing with a damp cloth.
