Before use
Before you use the sandwich grill you should read the instructions carefully
and save them for future use. Wipe the plates with a damp cloth before use.
Use
Before the first use, smear the cooking plates with oil and toast two slices of
bread according to the instructions below.
Place the sandwich grill on a flat surface. Connect to an outlet, the red lamp
will turn on. Check that the cord do not come in contact with the sandwich grill
since the housing will get hot during use. Prepare the sandwiches while the
grill warms up. Butter the sides that will face the grill plates for a crispy result
and add the filling in between.
When the green lamp lights, the appliance is ready to use. Place the bread on
the plates with the buttered side towards the plates. Close the sandwich grill by
pressing the handles together and lock with the clasp on the handle. Note! If
the handle can not be closed there is too much filling. Never close the lid with
force as this could damage the grill. The sandwiches will be ready after approx.
3-4 minutes depending on the filling, bread and personal taste. Open the clasp
and open the sandwich grill. Note! The green thermostat lamp will turn on and
off during use showing that the thermostat keeps the right temperature.
After use
Unplug the appliance. Let the appliance cool and clean the plates with a dish
brush while the plates are still lukewarm. Wait with further cleaning until the
appliance has cooled completely.
Cleaning
The appliance and its cord must never be immersed in water or other liquids or
be cleaned under running water.
When cool, the plates can be cleaned with kitchen roll paper or a damp cloth.
Never use sharp utensils or abrasive cleaners when cleaning the plates since
