How to use the hand mixer
Hand mixer with whisks
Mount the mixer on the support by first pushing the hand mixer into the small dent on the
front side of the support and then press the rear part of the mixer into the support until it
engages – Make sure that the hand mixer is properly fixed on the support. Press the release
button and push the support of the mixer upwards in order to raise it.
Hold the stem of the whisks while they are being pushed in place into the openings on the
underside of the appliance. When you hear a click, the whisks are locked into position.
Put the ingredients into the bowl. To achieve the best result, start with the liquid ingredients
followed by the dry ones. Put the bowl on the bowl support and press the release button
while you place the support of the mixer into horizontal position.
Position the 5-level speed control at 0 and insert the plug into a mains socket (remember to
switch on) – the mixer is now ready for use.
Always start with step 1. The bowl will rotate during use to ensure that all ingredients in the
bowl are homogenously whipped.
Hand mixer with dough hooks
Mount the dough hook with two rings on the stem in the big opening and the dough hook with
only one ring in the small opening. It is important to position the hooks in this way as, if not,
the dough/mixture will work its way up the dough hooks and stem.
Do not use the hand mixer for more than 5 minutes at a time and then let it rest for about 30
minutes before further use.
If the hand mixer is used without the delivered bracket, hold onto the handle of the mixer
when you position the whisks or the dough hooks into the product to be whipped/mixed.
Use your thumb to choose the speed by pushing the sliding button forwards and backwards,
respectively – also when the motor is on. The whisks/dough hooks will rotate in the bowl in
such a way that the ingredients in the bowl will be homogenously whipped/mixed.
In order to avoid splashes, always keep the whisks in the ingredients in the bowl and switch
off the mixer before lifting the whisks off the bowl.
NOTE! Make sure that the whisks and the dough hooks rotate freely in the product to
be whipped. If not, the motor of the mixer may be overloaded!
What speed?
