The transmitter takes 2 x AAA 1.5V batteries. For insertion of the batteries, remove
the battery cover (B) on the back of the transmitter and insert the 2 batteries in the
battery compartment. Make sure to position the batteries with the +pole and the –pole
as shown in the instructions at the inside of the battery compartment. Remount the
battery cover.
The transmitter will now start the transmission of signal.
When the batteries in the transmitter are getting low, an indicator of battery change
will be displayed next to the outdoor temperature. In case of more than one transmitter,
locate the channel number in question by means of the CHANNEL button (B) to see
the indicator of battery change. Change the batteries as described above.
Mounting on a table or on the wall
The receiver can be placed on an even surface, e.g. a table.
Position the transmitter within a radius of about 30 metres from the receiver. It can be
positioned in an upright position on an even surface or be suspended on a wall e.g. by
means of the suspension eye.
Backlight
The backlight will be on for 5 seconds by pressing the SNOOZE/LIGHT button on the
receiver.
This is how the weather station works
The weather station automatically measures changes in the air pressure (12) in the
area surrounding it and shows the weather forecast by means of weather symbols,
based on these changes. The weather symbols show the weather forecast for the
next 12 to 24 hours within a radius of about 15-20 kilometres from the position of the
weather station. This means that the figures displayed at e.g. 8 p.m. is the forecast for
the following day from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
IMPORTANT!
•
Since the information of the weather station is based on historical data, the
accuracy of the forecast is about 70-75% and within 12-24 hours ahead within a
radius of about 15-20 kilometres from where the weather station is positioned.
•
Remember that the forecast symbols do not show the actual weather, but how the
weather will be.
•
The sunshine symbol at night is just an indication of a clear sky.
•
The weather station needs about 24 hours to establish the historical data in order
to make the correct forecast.
