10. Never immerse the appliance in water or any

other liquid. Never use the appliance with humid

hands and do not position the appliance on a wet

or humid surface.

11. Always unplug the appliance from the mains

supply immediately after use, if the appliance is

used in a bathroom, as water presents a hazard

even when the appliance has been switched off.

12. Always check the appliance, the cord and the

switch before use. If the cord is damaged, it must

be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized

service agent or a similarly qualified person in

order to avoid any hazard.

13. Extra protection can be obtained by installation of

a residual current device of 30 mA. Check with

your installer.

14. The appliance is for domestic use only.

15. If the appliance is used for other purposes than

intended or not handled in accordance with

the instruction manual, the full responsibility for

any consequences will rest with the user. Any

damages of the product as a consequence of the

above are not covered by the warranty.

Use

Make sure that the hair is completely dry and comb it well. If the hair is very

long or thick, it would make it easier if you use hair clips to separate the hair.

Plug to a wall outlet and switch on the appliance by pressing the I/0 button

and the signal lamp of the set temperature (155°C) starts flashing. Adjust the

temperature by pressing the + (or the -) button until the signal lamps flash at

the wanted temperature. Select the suitable temperature depending on your

type of hair and see the recommended temperatures below. If you use the

appliance for the first time, we recommend that you start at the lowermost

temperature setting.
