IMPORTANT! Never cover the toaster with tinfoil or other material when in use, as the
warm air must circulate along the edge. Any consequential damages will not be covered
by the warranty.
Cleaning and maintenance
Make sure the toaster is cold, that the lever is in its upper position, and that the plug has been
taken out of the mains supply before cleaning the toaster. Bread crumps etc. drop into the
crump tray at the bottom of the toaster. Turn the screw at the bottom of the toaster anti
clockwise in order to release the crump tray at one side. Clean the crump tray with a brush
or similar. Make sure to fasten the crump tray by means of the screw before you use the
toaster again.
Wipe the outer surfaces with a damp cloth and polish with a try, soft cloth. Do not use
scouring powder or aggressive detergents which may scratch the surface of the appliance.

material. The toaster should only be used under supervision.

qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
The electrical installation must comply with the present legislation concerning additional

protection in the form of a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating
current not exceeding 30 mA). Check with your installer.
The appliance is for domestic use only.
