How To Sit Correctly
1. Carry out the measurement whilst comfortably seated.
2. The cuff should be at the same level as your heart, Fig. 3.
3. Keep still during the measurement: do not move and do not talk as this may alter
the measurements.
Take A Reading
1. Press the
START
button to turn the unit on. All display characters are shown for
one second (display test), Fig. 4.
2. Then the current user group (U1 or U2) appears. Press
MEM
button to alternate
between U1 or U2, Fig. 5. Press the
START
button to confirm your selection. (The
current user group will be confirmed automatically after the unit being idle for
5 seconds.)
3. The LCD screen will show "0" and begin automatic inflation, Fig. 6.
4. The arm cuff will automatically begin to inflate to the appropriate pressure level.
And the measurement starts once the unit slowly releases air from the cuff.
5. Three short beeps are heard when the measurement is complete. The systolic
and diastolic blood pressure and the pulse rate with the pulse symbol appear
on the display. The blood pressure indicator flashes next to the relevant colored
bar depending on the WHO blood pressure classification, Fig. 7.
If the unit has detected an irregular heartbeat, the arrhythmia
display flashes.
Memory Function
The monitor automatically stores 60 measurements each for 2 users.
If the memory is full, the monitor will delete the oldest measurements.
6. The measured values are stored automatically. A total of up to 60 measured
values with time and date can be stored in two user groups (U1 and U2).
Switch Off The Monitor
• Press the
START
button to turn the unit off in any mode.
• The unit will shut off automatically after idling for 1 minute.
1. Displaying Stored Results
• With the unit switched off, press the
MEM
button to activate the memory mode.
• Press
START
button to change user group and the
MEM
button to confirm your
selection, Fig. 8. (The current user group will be confirmed automatically after
the unit being idle for 5 seconds.)
• The average value of the last three results appears on the LCD screen, together
with (Average), Fig. 9. If there is no result stored, the LCD screen will show
dashes, Fig. 10.

• Press the MEM button, the LCD screen will show the most recent result. The
memory number appears for a second
before displaying date and time.
The memory number will increase by 1 each time.
• Continue pressing the
MEM
button to cycle through the stored results, Fig. 10.
