Unpacking
If external damage that could prejudice the function of parts important for operation
are visible, you should immediately, if possible the same day, inform the carrier of
the goods e.g. Forwarding Agents, Railway, Post or whatever of the damages
and insist on a written confirmation of damage. Then inform the supplier, who will
take the necessary steps.

Assembly and operation
Type UWS K2 is supplied with a stand and an earth spike. Both can be fixed at the
floodlight by screwing. UWS K2 is provided with 2 cable glands. This type is
delivered as a complete set consisting of either one, two or four floodlights and
is equipped with 5 m each of connecting cable H05RN-F 2 x 1.0² or H07RN-F 2 x 1.5²
or is optionally delivered without connecting cable. The floodlights can be cabled
as ring system. For underwater operation, the floodlight must be installed at least
3 cm below water surface.
Caution:
The floodlight should never be carried by the connecting lead but
should only be taken hold of at the casing.
Use these instructions to familiarize yourself with the device before you use it
for the first time. It is absolutely essential that you observe the safety
guidelines on the proper and safe use of the device.
For safety reasons, children and young people under 16 years of age, as well
as people who cannot recognize potential hazards or who are not familiar
with these instructions, must not use this device!
Please keep these instructions in a safe place! In the event of a change of
ownership, please pass these instructions on to the new owner along with the
product.
Field of Application
The floodlight is suitable for underwater installations as well as for application
outside of water (e.g.as garden-or party luminaire). When installed outside of
water a minimum distance of 50 cm from combustible objects must strictly be
maintainted!
Adjustment of the light cone
Type UWS K2 allows an infinite adj ustment of the light emission angle from 10° to
40°. For this purpose, the lamp casing can be turned towards the connection box,
both sides through to stop.
CAUTION:
In no case the lamp ring must be detached! When removing the lamp
ring water might penetrate into the floodlight!
